A branded short documentary was produced for Deer Creek Malthouse, a craft malt producer known for creating high-quality, flavorful ingredients from locally grown grain. The film highlights the company’s dedication to sustainability, craftsmanship, and community — capturing the story of how local agriculture transforms into world-class malt for brewers and distillers.
Shot on-location at Deer Creek’s farm in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, the production followed the team through the various stages of their process — from grain cultivation and germination to roasting, milling, and packaging. The approach combined documentary-style cinematography with natural sound design and warm, earthy visuals, reflecting the authenticity and care that define Deer Creek’s work.
In addition to the branded film, another video was produced to highlight Deer Creek’s annual Grain and Malt Symposium — an event designed to educate, collaborate, and connect the diverse community that supports the grain and malt ecosystem. The program brings together farmers, maltsters, millers, brewers, distillers, bakers, chefs, restaurateurs, and consumers, fostering dialogue, innovation, and appreciation for the craft.
Together, these projects showcase Deer Creek’s ongoing mission to celebrate local agriculture and strengthen the relationships that power Pennsylvania’s grain and malt community.
